When I am introducing color to my students my go to is the
Design Seeds website.
It is my absolute favorite site to find good color schemes!
Once my students figure out what color scheme they want to use I have them look up the colors in my Color Mixing Recipe Books!
Yes I have color RECIPE books and they are AWESOME!!!!
This teaches students/artists how to mix colors and get out of the practice of using colors straight from the tube! Kids love this!!!!!
The books by William F. Powell are my fave so far!
